London City Drains - Drainage Service Rates

Emergency Call Outs (18.00hrs – 08.00hrs)

Emergency call outs are determined as between 18:00 - 08:00, all day during week ends and on bank holidays. London City drains emergency call-out rates are:

Residential = £46.50 per half hour labour
Business or Commercial = £55 per half hour labour

The mimimum charge is half an hour.

No call-out charge will be made during normal working hours.

Our engineers will advise if plant hire is necesary on site.

Call Outs during Working Hours (08.00hrs – 18.00hrs)

Normal working hours for call-out are determined as 08:00 - 18:00 during week days.

For normal call-out, there is no additional call out charge - we just charge our normal rates. Before commencing any work, our drainage engineers will make you aware of the likely costs and seek you consent before starting work. The normal rates for our drainage services are:

Residential = £35 per half hour labour
Business or Commercial = £39.50 per half hour labour

Drains are usually cleared within one hour, provided there is adequate access to the drain [plus a number of other factors]. For additional details visit our drain blockages page.

Where necessary, any parking fees or congestion charges will be added to our drainage service charge.

Jet Cleaning Rates

Jet cleaning [drain jetting] is only undertaken during normal working hours. The rates for jet cleaning are as follows:

Residential = £35 per half hour labour or/and £39 per half hour machinery
Business or Commercial = £39.50 per half hour labour or/and £45 per half hour machinery
